We were the first generation in half a score to be told our death was necessary – reasonable. We must die so those who survive can continue to hold up the structure for those at the top. We didn’t agree.
They said they wanted a revolution. They say it no more. Not since we hanged their bodies from the bridges. Not since we took the pig’s head and paraded it through the street. Not since we showed them what we can do. Now they say we’ve gone too far. We say not enough. We were once seen and not heard. We asked, and we were ignored. No more. You will see us. You will hear us.
